The Grand Auditorium

Available Services and Equipment
The box office is open from Monday to Friday and on public holidays (except 1 January, 1 May and 25 December) from 10:00 to 19:00 Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:30 (19:00 on performance days). On Sundays it only opens on performance days from 13:00 to 19:00.
You can use the free cloakroom service to leave bags, coats, umbrellas, musical instruments or other large objects which, for safety reasons, cannot be taken into the auditorium. You can claim them at your convenience after the performance.
For one hour before the performance and during the interval, the foyer bar offers a wide range of products, and has a pleasant terrace in the garden. On days of broadcasts from the Met Opera, you can choose the cocktail option, which includes a selection of drinks and aperitifs at your discretion.
Shop and Bookshop
While you are waiting for the performance to begin, or during the interval, take time to visit our shop and bookshop, where you will find Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation publications, exhibition catalogues and other articles. There is an ATM next to the box office.
At classical music concerts, entrance in the auditorium is not allowed after the doors are closed, unless otherwise indicated by the room assistants. In order not to disturb the concentration of the musicians and the audience, you may have to occupy a seat other than that stated on your ticket.
Music, dance, sports and similar performances are age rated for those over 6 years old, in accordance with the terms of Law 23/2014, Article 27. However, at our Sunday Concerts, aimed specifically at families, the minimum age is 3 years old.
