The Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation is located in the centre of Lisbon, next to Praça de Espanha, in a park covering a total area of around 7,5 hectares.

7 minutes by metro from the Baixa-Chiado station and 15 minutes by car from the airport, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation brings together the very best of ancient and modern art in two museums surrounded by a magnificent garden, in which visitors can experience a great sense of tranquillity.
The Foundation is housed in an architectural complex designed in the 1960s, classified as national heritage, which includes, besides the museums, a library, auditoria for conferences and concerts and an open-air amphitheatre.
