A venue for knowledge and critical reflection, the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation contains three auditoriums and four rooms of differing sizes for the hosting of conferences, educational activities and performances.
The Grand Auditorium, with a 1,200 person capacity, hosts the annual Gulbenkian Music season as well as the major conferences featuring the most renowned thinkers of our time. Mikhail Gorbachev, Muhammad Yunus and Joseph Stiglitz are among the speakers to have taken to this stage.
The auditoriums and venue rooms serve for events promoted and run by the Gulbenkian Foundation or external entities whenever so requesting.
