Our scholarship programme has five major categories: Global Excellence, Armenian Studies (both short and long term grants), Undergraduate Studies, Western Armenian Teacher Training and Short Term Travel Grants for Students/Academics in Armenia. Information on how to apply can be found in each grant's individual page.

In addition to these major categories, we provide occasional scholarships for emergency situations (e.g. Syria) and Armenian students already living in Portugal.

Through these five scholarship categories, we hope to benefit Armenian students around the world, while reinforcing Armenian studies and allocating our resources in a strategic manner.

N.B. ‘Armenian Studies’ is understood in a broad sense and is not confined to Area Studies. It includes politics, sociology, cultural studies, archaeology, history and other disciplines within the social sciences and humanities.
